When Russell took over in 1961 at just 21, many doubted his ability but he was determined, creative, and relentless. During his illustrious tenure, he successfully spearheaded the expansion of our company into a major direct-to-consumer (DTC) product fulfiller, revolutionizing our operational capabilities. His visionary leadership and strategic acumen enabled Thill Inc to not only remain competitive, but to flourish in the ever-evolving market landscape for an astonishing 50 years.
A notable figure during Russell’s tenure was his wife, Nancy A. Thill. Balancing the roles of supportive wife, mother and business partner, Nancy seamlessly stepped into the heart of the Thill family enterprise. She assumed the crucial responsibility of overseeing the transportation and traffic aspects of the business, effectively managing full truckload, Less Than Truckload (LTL), and small parcel shipping operations. Her dedication and expertise ensured the smooth and efficient flow of goods, reinforcing Thill Inc’s reputation for reliable, customer-focused service.
